I know I haven't been around for quite sometime.
And I also know that I haven't been much of a friend too.
Nevertheless I can't help wishing Karl a
Happy Birthday buddy!!!

I didn't plan this, I was lurking the forum a little, remembering pretty old stuff when my cellphone alarm went off.
I didn't wanna believe this amazing coincidence.
Well I guess it's 49, right?
Have a nice day, enjoy it with your wife (hi Mercy ) and with the kids - I mean, the grown ups - and have fun!
Wish you guys all the best and today I promise I'll be drinking a glass of champagne at dinner.
Kudos Karl.

Hi Rui!!!!!

What a surprise

Thanks a lot

Yeah, it's 49

But I still feel like this

Guess the years go by, but it really doesn't matter as long as you feel ok

Cheers,
-Karl

Yeah I know some birth days from people like my parents, my wife and kid, my closer friends and not much more really.
I actually happen to know that Karl's is on Dec 8.
But the big problem is my internal clock does not fire up an alarm with this stuff.
Usually I go "oh, Miguel just gone 32 last week" or "wow, yesterday my cousin Pedro did 35".
So, yeah, in a sense I can't see how people lived without certain things that make life extremely easier, like the bank machine, the phone or the internet.
Cheers Phil
