There's a very interesting documentary explaining how the Bush administration manipulated the media and the press to get american citizens to believe Iraq was a iminent thread. The documentary is full of people that used to work in the government, CIA, etc, showing each of them how this was done. I believe every american should see this and take your own conclusions. It's english spoken. And I converted to a nice KSVCD using FFVFW! :)
Unfortunatelly, the torrent where I got the documentary is no longer working. But I'll be happy to give it to anyone interested.

I could not just read the posts and not say anything regarding the topic in question.
Please note that I am not a democrat, nor am I a republican, call me independent if you wish.......

Yes, the WMD was but one of the reasons given to go to war with Irak, but I am not sure if the idea of WMD was created by Bush. If I remember correctly, the UN, including France Russia and Germany also believed that Sadam had (or may still have) such weapons, only time will tell us for sure..........and perhaps I am one of the stupid fools that believe that the world is better off without Sadam Hussein.

Monday morning quarterbacking, as it name implies, always appear after the facts, and in hindsight everyone has the proper answer or critic, after the ocurrance......... I am sure that there is more than one documentary regarding the so called manipulation of the facts, as I am sure that most of them will be seing here in the USA within the next months.
Manipulation of the news, TV, radio, press and of the masses exists in any country, Peru, Brazil, Europe and here in the USA as well, so it becomes very difficult to learn the actual facts, so each and everyone of us should carefully consider the news and discern the facts, or what we believe as facts, and then vote in accordance with our conciense, and not necessarily following a party line. As far as my preference as president: I am going to vote for G. Bush...............

Do not mean to offend any one, I am just speaking my own mind and breaking my own rule regarding politics, my grandmother, a wise lady. taught me:
"Do not embark on arguments regarding religion or politics because you will create many enemies doing so" and I can assure that I do not want to create enemies in this forum at all, therefore this will more than likely be my last post in this thread.............
