Thats WWE wrestling now. Didn't Sable sue the WWF for forcing her to be in a lesbian angle. Now she is kissing Torri I hear.

He's probably plotting world-domination somewhere with Nicholai Volkov, while Sgt. Slaughter and Koko B. Ware try to thwart their evil plans.

I haven't watched wrestling in many years, but I do recall seeing some homemade-looking commercials sometime in the past, oh, 6 years or so for some sort of "generic" wrestling event that, if I recall correctly, the Iron Sheik was involved in. So I'd be willing to bet that he's probably still performing his patented "camel-clutch" in the local armories and carnival tents across the midwest.

From what I can gather, it seems like many of these 50-year-old wrestlers have a very hard time saying goodbye to their profession. It's kind of sad really. I caught part of an interesting documentary movie (the name escapes me right now...I'm sure you know the one Vhelp) about wrestling a couple years ago which showed what the behind-the-scenes life of a professional wrestler is really like. Jake The Snake was always one of my favorites way back when....the documentary showed the level of struggle and disarray that his life was currently in at that time. .

I'm sure some of them fared much much better....Hulk Hogan must have a nice chunk of change set aside by now (heck, he's been wrestling for like 70 years now!..and still goin' strong!..or at least, still goin'... ...can he even rip his shirt off anymore I wonder?). I recently saw a commercial for a pay-per-view event on dishnet with lots of famous ex-wrestlers in it, and the Hulkster was among them...guess those 10-10-2-20 commercials don't pay the rent (and even more off-topic: what's up with Alf What marketing-wizard thought up that resurrection?...better than Carrot-Top though I suppose. ).

"Bastion Booger" (aka "Norman" I think?) lives somewhere around me (a buddy of mine even got his autograph once when he sold "Mr. Booger" a sandwich ), and I know that after he retired he still did a couple local events in my area now and then...charity events I believe...nice guy from what I hear. He even had Brutus The Barber Beefcake and a few other guys from the 80's come around. Heck, now that I think about it more, that's most likely where I saw Iron Sheik!

boy, aren't weekends great?

hay daze.. and others..

>> boy, aren't weekends great?

Yes, they SURE ARE, he he..

You left out one more, that memory serves me.. Ivan Poosky!!
Polish Power (or however that one went)

I first started watching Wresting back in 1972 I think, when Holk Hogan
was bad and Boby got his azz kicked (and thrown over the ropes many
times) and who was the guy w/ the ) through his noise, Holk's
manager ?? Ah, yes, Captain Lou Aubano (something like that) he got
his butt whip a few times too (back in the early 70's) ..anyways, back in
those "golden" days, we all sat down and watch in awl !!
.
.
However, I remember the fealing of something's not right here.. that why
they always find the last minute strength.. and how the "3 count" was always
fishy, and how one week, they win, and the next, they loose etc, etc.
All this was fishy, but I was young and as usual, listened to the grownups
he he..

Anyway.. later on, as time went by, I stopped watching.. then somewhere
in 1985 or 86, I stumbled into my Lanlords room to catch her new 27"
Stereo TV she got. It was awsome!! Anyways, I was flipping through the
chennels, ..low and behold, Wrestling.. Well, in short, I was hooked back
on to it again !!
Junk Yark Dog, Randy Savage, Jack the Snake, Paul Orndorf and Holka-Mania, and so many others. I was glued to the TV ever since.
AFter a 3 or so years, it began to get corny, so I stopped watching it for a
while. Then, here I go again, sometime in 1998 or 99 I was back into it
again. Sheesh !! So, on and off, to this day, I'm catching it. Only this time,
it's more Women and.. well, you know.

So, who's or which are my favorites ?? I won't tell ya he he..

wow.. sweet Elezabeth passed on only this year

@ CheronAph..
I don't recall seeing Goldberg around.. but they did show some old footage
that I remember seeing in the Eighties..

Did you happen to remember that match w/ Bret and Bulldog ??

Man, I can't get over how I fogot how NOISEY the crowd used to be..
That was TRUE crowd noise w/out the noise reduction techniques added.
It almost leaves you w/ the believe that NO-ONE is paying attention to the
match At least, that's how I felt, when I watched that old match,
above.

@ cheron..

He Spierd the Rock a few week ago.
Then, last week, he Rock-Bottom him (to Goldberg, that is) but came too
real quick.

Unfortunately, Goldberg can't act !! He doesn't show (act) pain very well.
..well, neither does the Rock, but he's not as bad though.

Stacy has a nice Tight, but no chest.. less I need glassess ?? All she does
is show .ZZ hehe..
