Phil, you're a joker.....ah, you read that post too ! (want sample?)
believe, i don't like the image of this new lionking3...seems "unsharp",unclear!

the dvd is brand new, i have 5 tvs, 2 standalone dvds players and
2 dvds players(one burn) in pc with ati all in wonder grafic card!

i buy all cartoons from Disney's and my old vhs tapes like:
(don't know in english)
Mickey - o principe e o mendigo
Aladim - o retorno de jafar
Os aristogatas
have better quality in the picture....

maybe something is wrong with this dvd...don't know!

It will be better to do the opposite. Tell me a frame you don't like and I'll try to send it to you.

FIY :
Micky : the poor and the rich
Aladin, Jafar's return
The aristocats

And actually the last one didn't have a best picture. It's on old classic painted on celluloid where LK3 is almost all computer generated.
Where did you buy your edition ? To an old weird chinese selling also cute furry little mogwais ?

"Watch out : do not feed them after midnight "

everybody in the forum "think" that you are serious (and you are)
but for me my friend, you're a joker!

Phil,i don't like of many scenes....when they are in the colored "paradice"
the image is cool but in the remainder , the scenes seems with "dry" colors!

i load only the source in vdubmod,
and this frames i don't like:

18354 (colors "too dry"),
25982,
29960 (opac),
36483 (opac),
43089 (opac),
52020, 63457,
78714 (colors "too dry"),
87160 (too much color, the red seems a incandescent "buble"),
87557 (colors "too dry"),
94301 (too much color, the red seems a incandescent "buble"),
96954.....and lots more.
choose one, two or all please!

thanks in advance Phil!

i'm sending a pm with my mail!

Okay, I will try to find the correct frames are I'm in PAl, so 25 frames per second and not 29.970. But I'll find a way. But not tonight .

2 ways bigggt:

after rip the dvd, (i don't remember if work without rip first)

load the vob in vdubmod (choose the audio stream) or
with dvd2avi project with a simple "source-only".avs script .
to the frames posted, was used dvd2avi project.

Phil,
no need the perfect frames....you got the "idea" .

another 2 ways bigggt:

with dvddecrypter, settings, ifo mode,
adjust file splitting to "none".
then you will rip only one big vob.....
or
using vobedit, you can do only one big vob
from the vobs ripped in hd folder!

thanks bigggt...you have pm!

Jorel !

Just to split a little oil on the fire : I'm currently doing your snapshots for lion king 3. I just wanted to say that... the picture as a 16 PIXELS BORDER ON EACH RIGHT/LEFT SIDE !

That is also why sometimes you should consider CROP/LETTERBOX the image and not only RESIZE it. Because it is not the first time I see that (even if 16 pixels is the larger border I ever saw !)
