Yep, you will see them eventually, but just one at a time on the top of the page. That's it
I don't like pages cluttered with banners, and I hate pop-ups

The reality is the people need some money sometimes... and money does not grow on trees.

The other reality is the when people get money they buy things. I usually buy things I need. I differentiate between products based on knowledge and want.

I hate advertising that is just blasted out there to make you buy things you don't want, you don't need or that just plain suck.

But advertising for things I might buy can be helpful. That is how I learned about ReplayTV, when the McRib is back at McDonald's, when a new movie opens at the theatre.... you get idea.

As long as the banners are not for penis enlargement, porno sites or other similar things I am all for it.

AMEN Kwag. The more ways you find to generate revenue the more likely the AWSOME information on this site will stay free. (Even though many of us do think you could charge for the KVCD3 information).

Just the fact that you took into account the annoyance of pop-ups makes it obvious the banners will not be anything more than more optional information.

No complaints here!

That's the whole idea

Yep. I hate pop-ups. But I don't mind a single banner with usefull information. Right now the banners you see are dummy banners. The KVCD.Net banner is just a filler, and the other banner cycling randomly is from the provider. I'm in negotiations with the companies that will actually put the real banners here

Afternoon Kwag..

Is it possible for you to put the BANNER in the "center" of the screen, so
that when we view each page, and size/re-size for convenience sake, the
BANNER is always centered, and we no longer have to SHIFT our page
to read the posts and dates and so on and so forth ?? ??
Like, under the [xx] profile [xx] You have no new me.. .. ..see below:

.......... Profile You have no new messages Logout [ xxxxx ]

I'll second vhelp's notion! I've also noticed this since the banner was added. It's a sleight annoyance having to scroll the screen left/right to be able to see the person's name, or the time they posted, or to be able to fully read their posts, etc. Hope you don't mind us asking for a small cosmetic change Kwag, if possible.
