Hi el_mero_zooter

I have both and id say xbox is a better built machine but it all depends waht you want to do with it.

My kids love the ps2 and i think if i had to choose i would go for ps2 just to be on the safe side.

If its for you or kids the joysticks on the xbox is why kids don't like it as much the are pretty big but with xbox you don't need memory cards which are an extra 30 bucks.

Well, I ended up picking up an xBox, for da kidz of course.  .
Everyone kept saying that there's more games for the PS2, but from the variety i saw, there were some good titles available too, for da Xbox.
Costco , up here, had a deal, or bundle. $ 350.00 cdn, (which is like $50.00 USD, :)__) for the console, two controllers, dvdkit, and two games, and two months of xbox live.
It was a savings of about 50-70$ or so. Figured it was a good start.
There's a lot more that can be done as well with it,,,:), over da ps2..
Can't wait till da 25th,,errr,,, i mean , da kidz can't wait till the 25th,,
:)
