Where's Phil?

Yes, where's Phil?
This time Jorel isn't missing
We haven't heard from Phil since April 24 and I believe that was in the French forum.
I wonder if everything is ok with him.
Hope he comes back soon.
Cheers

Maybe he got a lot to do actually (I just assume) ... that regulary speaks for only on Weekend postings :?:

rds_correia 04-29-2004 04:44 PM

Hope you're right, buddy Inc.
Just hope you're right...

incredible 04-29-2004 04:54 PM

I know what you mean ....

Zyphon 04-29-2004 05:09 PM

The last time I heard from Phil in the English Speaking forum he was having problems at work over his over-use of the internet and he said he would have to just concertrate on helping others when he has the spare time mainly weekends like incredible said. :)

kwag 04-29-2004 05:13 PM

I sent him a PM day before yesterday. I checked my outbox, and the message is still there. Which means he hasn't even logged in.

Thats true my company use a proxy to limit access to certain sites although KVCD is o.k.

I think Phil had some bother at work because he was using the internet excessively namely helping out here on KVCD and I think he had to restrict using his work PC for browsing.

I see him online already, so hopefully everything's fine :D .
Phew :!:
Welcome back buddy.

Dialhot 04-29-2004 06:20 PM

Okay, it seems that nobody read my posts :-D

I gave all explanations in this thread http://www.kvcd.net/forum/viewtopic....10220&start=36 (see my post of 21th april).

Since this time I really lost my job (actually, my assignement, not my real job as I work for a company that rent me to customers) that's why I can't post a lot since some days.

And it seems that things will become worst :-) : I am supposed to start to work next monday for an ohter customer in... Germany ! :-)

Nothing sure, but I should be far from my computer for 3 months at least :-(

Zyphon 04-29-2004 06:28 PM

Its good to hear from you Phil, Im sorry that things are not going so well at work.

Being away from your computer for 3 moths! That sucks!

I hope if you do move to Germany that you can hopefully find some time to help the newbes like me out still lol

Good luck with whatever happens Phil. :)

rds_correia 04-29-2004 06:42 PM

Hi buddy,
We were a bit stressed because you didn't show up for some time.
Life is a b**ch and loosing your job is really bad  .
Even worst than loosing you for 3 whole months and I assure you that will be painful for all of us :( .
Hopefully you will find another job soon.
 Now to which area of Germany are you moving for 3 months :?:
Is it near Colone :?:
I believe that's where Inc. is from so maybe you and him can access Internet from there at the end of working hours :)
At least you could keep up with the news and drop us some lines.
All the best for you pal and hope to hear well from you soon.
Cheers

I don't even know :-).

I don't know anything about Germany (even if my sister is born in Germany where my father worked during 14 years in the army). I don't understand a single word in german (I can read it but surely not understanding people talking in german :-)). I can't even stand a woman speaking german (no offense all german people but you tongue is all but feminine :-))

All what I know is that tuesday I gave my agreement to send my CV in Germany and today I receive a called saying the work will start Monday :-)

Oh ! I also discover the german name of the town : München

I you go to this town and see a poor french guy asking for his way, that will be probably me :-))

Well don't listen to her! (or just do as you would), as you can do so much other nice things with them  which btw. they like more than talking.
But you will see how many nice girls there will be in munich!! And for shure now as the weather now gets warm  nice clothes --- showing nice legs.
A clear hint  Have some breaks and visit the "English Garden" in munich where they sit all on the campus and drinking a "Paulaner"-Beer.

The only problem is ... if you have a trip a bit outside of munich, visiting the landscapes of bavaria .... you will hear bavarian dialect ... where the deepest bavarian even for me sometimes is understandable.
And do not say you know someone from cologne! As they dont like that part of Germany cause of prussian history in the very past times  . *just jokin*

But Bavaria gots the most nice landscapes ... full of green ... high mointains (far away from encodings) ;-)

What will be with your wife and kid(s)? Will they stay that time in paris?

kwag 04-30-2004 09:38 AM

Phil, don't forget to go to "Oktoberfest" ;)

-kwag

rds_correia 04-30-2004 05:08 PM

Hi guys,
Eheh! We just love beer to much don't we Karl? :drunkard:
Anyway, Phil will be too much busy with his work to care to go to places like Oktoberfest, won't you Phil :?:
Cheers
