This is the reason for which I did not try yet :

ShrinkTo5 is to be a GPL'ed DVD transcoding engine, supposedly cross platform compatible. There's a free GUI wrapping the engine available as well but so far only available for Windows. Linux and Mac OS versions should follow soon, and you need to make a donation to get the CD/DVD burning plugin.
(from doom9 news).

Too much "should" for the moment. I wait a little.

Note: I just read on a french forum that the DeCSS module is available only on emule. I can put the link if Karl agrees.

Note2 : I answered on that same forum that DVDShrink still works very well and really don't need to have a sucessor. More over if this one don't have the DeCSS module in it (that is the only feature that can become obsolete in DVDShrink in a near future).

Sure
It's just a piece of software
It's not like a movie link

Hum... it seems that this module is not legal in USA, that's the reason it is not in the product (hosted in USA).

Here is the link, if you want to remove it, just do.

No problem.
We don't carry the software here. We just point to where it is, so people that are in countries that don't have legal restrictions can use it
For instructional use *ONLY*

I am just puzzled why this thread is posted under the 'Anything not related to video' section when clearly it is something to do with video

I mean this is a Video Transcoder is it not???

@Zyphon
Thread moved to "Video Conversion". I think BP had the same difficulty I had to find a correct forum where to post. There is not really a forum talking about DVD->DVD tools.

@Inc
The Machinist is the name of the guy.
Actually I don't know if he if from AnyDVD team nor why he says his module is "similar to...". I think it's just because noobs don't know what a "DeCSS" is but are focused to "AnyDVD" like bees on honey.

Ah I see Phil, thanks for clearing that up for me. I myself in the past have had the exact same problem in trying to post in the correct forum.

Thanks for moving it phil.
