Minimum system configuration for dvd burner

What is the minimum system in which one can install a dvd burner? I have a PIII 500mhz running Windows 98SE with 384MB RAM, 80GB and 15GB harddrives. I have been making KVCDs for a while, but would like to venture into DVD burning. It does take quite a while to convert a 2 hour movie, 12-20 hours depending on filters used, but I don't mind.

I'm considering the NEC ND-1300A, DVD+/-RW drive from newegg. Right now it's $175.

Thanks,

Andy

I have a TEAC DV-W50EK DVD-R(W) drive, it works very good.
The "System Requirements" for this drive are:
Pentium II 500Mhz or higher
128 MB RAM
Windows 98/2000/ME/NT/XP
min. 10GB free on HDD
24 bit Colour Graphic Display

This is just a sample. I think your PC is good enough for the drive you want. My way is always: Buy it, test it, if itīs not ok Iīll bring it back!

I hope you understand what I mean, my english isnīt very good!
