Hi mma01,

Make sure you encoded your audio at 44.1Khz, and not at 48Khz.

That's wierd Kwag...

Whenever I encode audio at 44100, the final mpeg won't play on standalone. I have to encode at 48000 (bitrate can be anything from 64 to 384 (386?), just as long as Hz is 48000).

Wierd isn't it!?

the first that i saw that only like audio 48k is the Fluffbutt's player!

Jorel - Telefunken TD800x (x = 1 or 2 or 3, I foget now). Funny thing is it plays audio cd's fine, aren't they 44100Hz?

Kwag - if that question's for me, ac3 -> besweet -> mp2 (stereo, hybrid gain, 128kbps, 48000 Hz (untouched). if not umm  ignore me.

No diff. The result will be as bad with both kind of source :-)

Genrerally the audio in 48 Khz is the one that give problems, that's why Kwag told you to do it in 44.1. Now, if it is already in 44.1 and you have still problems, you should try the second solution: do a test with an audio in 48Khz. Perhaps your player is weird :-)
