First, thanks to Kwag for the templates -- he is a genius!!!

Anyway here's a report on the Alba Dvd 108 (in UK 69.99 from Argos, bargain price)

File Converted: Showtime (Divx Widescreen 1hr36mins)

Template Used: Kwag kvcdPlus 320x240

Frames Per Second: 23.976 (no change from original)

Had a lot of trouble with the audio, but what I did was use the Source Range in Tmpgenc and test a lot of clips until I came to the conclusion I needed -800msc for sync.

After full conversion, sync audio was out again, so I used this guide http://www.vcdhelp.com/sync.htm, and the relevant programmes using the -800ms sync information for measure of silence.

Outputted file came to 570mb!!!! Yes, only 570mb. Burned with Nero and standard compliance turned off, came to 630mb on the final cd-r.


Works fine on Alba Dvd108, no sync problems, better than vcd picture quality. I'm blown away. (vcd workaround for Alba dvd108 can be found here -- http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayershac...=Alba%20DVD108
