KVCD on Apex 1200
 

I just wanted to say that the apex 1200, working as strictly to standards as I can before venturing further, will adhere to most of the rules...

By this I mean, that you can use the kvcd plus OR kvcdx3 templates, and as long as they are encoded at 29.97 (even 23.97, 29.97 internal as had been said before, by slab I think) and at 480x480, they will work. Everything else is just tweaking for quality. THIS IS FOR MPEG 2 only, mpeg 1 does not seem to work through this on any of my tests...if i am missing something please let me know.

As far I know, mpeg 1 will work with any kvcd template, as long as the res is 352x240 (or pal variation) and the frame rate can be 23.97 or 29.97.

I am open to other ideas, I just wanted to post my personal experiences...
