digital camcorder advice

I'm trying to locate an inexpensive digital pocketcam (movie/still picture) that has decent quality.

:?: Any advice on which models have best "bang for the buck"?

Sorry Phil. Texas.

My daughter bought a cheap (poor quality) Aiptex DV3100. Need to find her something decent.

I don't know what's cheap in your case, but Canon has very good quality products in many price ranges (the PowerShot models). I've got the A60 and the image quality is excellent.

Thanks Boulder. Will these shoot video also?

I don't know if all of them do, but mine does MJPEG 320x240@15fps. The next model (A65 or A70) does 640x480 IIRC, not sure of the framerate. Check Canon's website for accurate info.
