Sears brand DVD players?

Hi my son got a sears brand dvd from his grandparents ,and its actually really nice but when i convert to dvd with ac3 sound it plays perfect but when i put the sound to mp2 it goes out of sync.

Now i have been here for a wile and know resolutions throw things off but i had no idea the type of audio would.

Would there be anyway to use mp2 on this dvd player(some kind of setting or trick)

i don't mind using ac3 but some movies you can fit 3 on a DVD with mp2 sound

thanx as always :D

Hi bigggt,

Did you encode your mp2 audio at 48Khz :?: NOT at 44.1Khz.

Using mp2 at 128 Kbit/s or AC3 2.0 at 128 KBit/s take the same space on the disc.

Do not mistaken AC3 with 5.1. AC3 can be anything from 1.0 to 7.2
