KVCD: Will KVCD-LBR play on old computers?
Hi All,
I played an KVCD-LBR on an older pentium III (400mhz, 192MB ram, 50X CD player) and discovered something interesting. KVCDx3 had trouble playing. The video skipped frames and of course the audio had synch problems, but the KVCD-LBR played without any problems. Next I'll try a friend's laptop pentium (75mhz, 75MB ram) and see what happens. If it works, then LBR has another benefit, that older PC's can run movies and that would be Super!! :D :D :D -black prince |

hey black prince,
I have a pentium 200 mhz system that plays mpeg1 fine but it won't play mpeg-2 at all. I also have an old IBM AT 286 out in the garage but it only plays 5 1/4 floopys  -ren |
Hey guys, how about an ATARI 400 with 32k ram
That's where I learned assembly language programming! I still have that machine, and it works. Good old times 8) That machine would probably play mpeg files at 10 frames per minute, not to mention that the memory it has would be filled with a couple of frames  -kwag |
OK,
I have a Sinclair with built-in tactial keyboard, 1"x4" display, and 16KB memory. It has some form of OS used before DOS. So, there. -black prince |
