How on earth do I get rid of WMP 9 Beta? I have Winxp.

twice now wmp 9 has deleted a load of codecs from memory, which has caused me problems when using vdub to capture from tv card.

hi buddy...

FU** WMP!!! sorry to say that but I didn't find ANY way of deleting windows media player... The program caused my computer to crash after I installed several new codecs, and I needed to reinstall my OS...
Well at least the program doesn't cause crashes in your case...

ok, found a way to get rid of wmp and get wmp 8 back, first of all you need wmp 8 setup file, then in add/remove programs click on add/remove windows componnts then deselect windows media player near the bottom and click ok, this will uninstall it, then all you do is run the wmp 8 setup and bobs your uncle you get wmp 8 back.
