Hey kwag,

just thought I would let you know that the alba 114 dvd player plays all your kvcd,kdvd,lbr templates. its one to add to the dvd models page as a dvd player that works with all your templates. It's a great dvd player, its multi region straight out the box, plays vcd, svcd, dvd-r, dvd-rw, mp3 and cd audio. Worth the buy for anyone in the uk, u can get it from Argos for £79.99, in the catalogue its the alba 108 but you get the alba 114. I recommend this dvd player to any uk kvcd, kdvd and the lbr template users.

Did you ever try a bitrate > 2300000 out of interest on the 114. I found 3000 kbps started to get jerky.

Also did you get any f/w updates from Bush? Or was this the stock (argos) build?

nope not had any firmware updates from alba, and no not tried that high a bitrate I just encode as the template was done by kwag.
