KVCD in any media player, it won't play?

I encoded my avi file to kvcd with your template. It encodes it completely, but when i try to open it in any media player, it won't play. It says playing, but there's no video, then it stops itself. What did I do wrong?

By the way, I was using your older template, but i changed the size to 352 X 288 and the CQ to 78. Also, the movie plays perfect in VirtualDub, I was just wondering if it will still work in my dvd player. I don't have enough CD-Rs to waste. Another thing, this is the only file to do this, all the other movies were perfect. Good work on the templates!

Probably your avi file was RGB and not YUY2.
Did you see video in TMPEG while encoding?
If your avi source is RGB, you're going to have to encode with an AviSynth script using the function ConvertToYUY2()

Yes, i saw the video while it was encoding. I went ahead and burned the file anyway, and it plays perfectly on my dvd player. Will this affect the playback in other dvd players and on computers?

It shouldn't affect playback in any PC. It will play in most DVD players, but not all!.

BTW what's your DVD player/model?
