I really NEED help now! As I told you in my last message "Simple Question" I had this weird white thing on the Windows Media Player screen. The White "thing" aperse when I play mpg files and m2v files
But when I play ordinary avi or DivX files it's perfect, the "thing" doesnt show up. When I played up my mpg files on my last computer ( have an new one now) that thing didn't show up .

What is this problem and how should I fix it

If you dont understand how the "thing" looks, plz tell me, how should I take screenshots and show them here?

Maybe it's some codec I dont have

I going ........... mad

Do you have anything else to play mpg's through? WMP can not always be relyed on. WinDVD is generally recommended for previewing with.

@Wolfi:

The joy of having two computers is you may think they are setup exactly the same but they never are. As Kwag said, burn a sample and see,
