KVCD in dvd player that doesn't support svcd?
hi there
i was wondering if anyone who has a dvd player wich doesn`t support svcd ever tried to create a mpeg 2 kvcd cd and found out it didnt work has anyone of you tried this method you have a mpeg 2 kvcd videostream and an mp2 audiostream and multiplexing it as an videocd non standard with tmpeg encoder the resulting file won`t play in windows mediaplayer but when you insert it in youre dvd player it works tried it on my philips dvd 710 and it works get the movie going with some errors wich i am trying to resolve |
Thats the "header trick" that can sometimes work on players that don't support SVCD...it won't work perfectly on all players though.

i now it is the header trick it is just a only saw people do the header trick with mpeg 1 files with a svcd header not the other way round
