Frustrated and need dvd player recommendation
 

Need recommendations for "best bang for the buck" DVD player. I have been unable to produce smooth VCD's or SVCD's for either my Cyberhome500 or Apex and have decided to give up and replace.

I need a unit that is completely compatible with DVD+R and all the KVCD/KDVD templates. I wish to make DVD's, VCD's and SVCD's. I need to keep the cost down, as I will have to purchase 3 identical machines (kids).

I don't want to end up in the position of having to make 544x480 copies or having to convert headers. The ideal situation would be having a machine that will play back 480x480 compliant SVCD's from the half DVD template or 352x480 plus (MPEG2) template. I work with both DVD and TV capture sources.

Advice from owners who have worked extensively with Kwag's templates would be sincerely appreciated.
