KVCD on A DVD-VCR combo

Does anyone have a DVD-VCR combo that supports either kvcd X3 mpeg-1 or mpeg-2. My bro needs one and I don't want him buy and returning them until he finds one.

P.S. sorry Kwag if I ask for combo's here since it say Standalone DVD/VCD players.

Head over to dvdrhelp.com, you can do a search of their DVD Players.

Well I know about dvdrhelp.com (which was vcdhelp.com) the point is I want to know a DVD-VHS that support Kwag's kvcd X3 templates.

Hi ak47,

The best test it to take one of your own KVCDx3 CDs to a store, and test it on a player :)

Thanx kwag, but I have one more question what stores you tried it on and was there any stores that didn't let you.

Any Sears Brand Central should let you test it. If other stores don't let you test the merchandise, say bye bye to them :D

You can allways tell them the following note, which I took from another site ;)
"So before you buy any DVD check the specifications and do not forget the line usually at the end of the user manual that reads: Specifications subject to change without notice. Take a test CD with you and ask to test the DVD, if somebody starts to complain just point that line."

I just realized this when I was looking around. DVD-VHS combos are a complete rip off. You can get one for $140(but there are usually crappy) and some I saw for $199. Or you can get a Cyberhome 300 DVD for 59.99 and a JVC 4-Head HiFi Stereo VCR with SQPB for 49.99 a grand total of $110 which is cheaper then cheapest DVD combo I saw (which was $120 which was massive and a company I never heard of). If you stack the two players any way it is the same size as a normal DVD-VHS combo. That’s my $0.02.

As they say: "Don't put all the eggs on the same basket"
It's better to have two separate units, and if one goes bad, you don't loose everything ;)
