KVCD: Playing KVCD on PC?
 

I just burned a KVCD with nero6. The KVCD will not play on my pc though. It plays in a standalone DVD player but not on my pc. I try to open it up but there is no mpeg, the movies are in .DAT format. This is wierd because it plays on a standalone but not my pc. Are there any KVCD players for download? Any help would be appreciated.

The .dat file are the "VCD version" of a mpeg file : as soon as you do VCD, your video are turned in such .dat file, don't worry its normal.

What you need is a VCD player. PowerDVD can do this, as winDVD. Or whatever other tools that handles VCD (zoomplayer...)
