GE 1106P Problem - Jumpy 704x480

Hello all,
I have a GE 1106P DVD player. I have just encoded four samples og the first minute or so of American Pie 2. The KVCDx2 samples would jump evey few seconds, as if trying to catch up. The same would happen for the KVCD 352x480. When I played the KVCD 352x240. It played beautifully but I am not getting any better picture quality than a standard VCD. What would you reccomend doing that would solve the problem of the jumpy video? Right now I am doin the DVD2AVI process with forced FILM off and will try that encode as MPEG2 with 3:2 pulldown because that might help somewhat. I will let you know the reults. This would also have the same effect as muxing as SVCD with 3:2 pulldown. I will let you know the results when I am done. If you have any suggestions please let me know. And KWAG: great picture quality even though it is jumpy. Looks like the DVD itself. Add the 1106P to the compatibility chart for 352x240. Thanks

Well, my MPEG-2 feature ran out so I guess I will just have to try a demux remux as SVCD
