it's a bit difficult to search through all these compatibility lists to find players that are compatible with the different templates. Maybe we could separate them by resolution or something.

I'll expand the compatibility list on the download page as time goes by.
Right now the page is being updated about once a week.

It might also be usefull to make separate listings for PAL and NTSC for players and/or where the player was bought.

You sometimes get the impression from VCDhelp.com that European and US versions of the same player are different, and not all brands show that on the type-number.

Sometime ago I started to make a form and a new type of listing, but I stopped working on it, because I lacked time and energy.

Maybe you could take a look for inspiration:
Form: http://www.kidon.com/kvcd/dvd_input.php
Listing: http://www.kidon.com/kvcd/dvdplayers.php

Hi dr_nicotine:

Thanks for the recomendations. I will look into automating the process, as you have suggested above. But probably not overnight ( as I usually do things ), as we have many things in the list and not enough time to do everything we want. But your form is perfect! I'll see what I can do. It's just a matter of time

Hi Kwag,

I can send you the 2 pages of php-code and the mysql table structure if you like, but my code isn't exactly known for it's excellence

I could also try to find time myself to work on it further, but I mainly got stuck on the possible editing of entries, one would need a linking to the forum-users table for verification as far as I could think of.
