svcd won't play in pioneer player?

Hi,

I've got a pioneer 343 and I've had success burning single disc movies with the kvcd templates. Recently I tried DVD2SVCD with default values, it created two sets of bin/cue files that I burned with Nero. However, the 2nd CD is not recognised as a SVCD or VCD, my player says it's a CD.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris:

I think something happened when the mpeg file was muxed as the second CD with DVD2SVCD. I did use DVD2SVCD for a couple of movies, but the target was a single disk, and I didn't have a problem with it. Maybe Nero screwed up?. Did you try burning that second image with VCDEasy?Hopefully someone will post here with a similar problem and solution.

Thanks kwag, I'll try VCDeasy and post the results.

Burnt the 2nd mpeg with VCDeasy and it worked fine.

Chenierc, you said that you have made KVCDs that played on your Pioneer 343. Can you tell what template you used and what settings you may have changed?

I'm having trouble getting KVCD to work with my 343.

Thanks for any help.
