Why is my picture narrow as compared to my screen?
I have just started to use KVCD-CQ-352x240_NTSCFILM_-Plus and a few other templates with an .avi.
The avi image properties: 640x416 I'm not sure what other info is needed...but this is a start. Anyway...the encoded film ends up being narrower than the screen after encoding with KVCD. I didn't have this problem with this same .avi with built in templates. What have I don wrong? Also...since the audio is not being encoded with the video with the kvcd templates...I assume that I extract the audio using vdub and add that file to the audio file...am I correct? |
When you watch the avi the picture is narrower than the screen, right? So, your goal must be the picture to be narrower also in the output. You have reached your goal :wink:

No...the avi is fine. The bnarrowing of the picture occurs after I encode with a kvcd template |
As always, we can't tell you anything without seeing the script used !

@newlife
If you see it narrowed in TMPG window change Video Arange Method to something different and again and again until it looks OK. |
