Can kvcd work on both normal and wide screen tv?
 

i encoded a KVCD it works fine on my normal tv but it only shows on half the screen of my wide screen tv, how do i get it to work on both, when i set it to dest_anamorphic it gives me a weird looking output.

I think most DVD stand alone players don't support "destanamorphic=true" setting. Just use 4:3 / 16:9 add borders for better compatibility..

so you're saying i have to do two encodes for each? any other opinions.

For your KVCD encodes, always use 4:3.
That's the correct way to encode, if your target is a VCD, SVCD, KVCD.
