DVD Players show wrong play time?

Both of my DVD-Players show a wrong playtime whith KVCDs! Is there a solution for this problem? :?:

Except stop making KVCD ? No :-)

Is it a general "KVCD" problem or is it a DVD-Player problem? :?

Or else, are there any Players which show the playtime right? :?:

Yes there are. But even on PC you have software that give you correct time and others don't.

at VCD mode the Players-Firmware takes the length of the .dat file and assumes that 10MB=1Min. So, if you burn a kvcd mpeg, as VCD this information is naturally wrong.
at SVCD mode the Players-Firmware has no constant bitrate of video, so
it takes the cbr audio-track to calculate the length.. supit, as it is, most players assumes that it is a 224 kbs Audio stream.. and wrong again :cry:
If you make a mpeg2 kvcd-mpeg file with 224 kbs Audio and burn it as SVCD the shown playtime will be correct.

@Roc: Thank you very much!

@kwag: What is so funny? :roll:
