Seek bar not working on WMP when playing my DivX Movies?
 

Hi Guys,

For some reason Windows Media Player is not letting me scan through my DivX movies any more, if i try and click on the seek slider bar to advance the movie to say the mid-way point or any other point for that matter it doesnt move and so i am forced to watch the entire movie.

As you can imagine this is frustrating as if im doing tests and i make a 2 minute clip i have to watch the entire 2 minutes.

Im using Windows XP and WMP9 can some1 tell how to fix this problem.

I'm serious, this tool as a LOT of problems and it is not recommanded as a regular tool when doing KVCD. So you should change to a "real" media player. Zoomplayer for instance.

Thanks for the advice Phil I think you are right I should start using a proper media player. :D
