I am brand new to this whole KVCD thing, but I find it very interesting.

anyways, I finally got this to start working, and I converted a movie earlier today.

When I open the MPG file I created up with my DVD software, it plays fine.

When I burn the MPG with Nero (also tried VCDEasy - same problem) it doesnt play right in the player...

the movie will start like 40 minutes in, and it acts as though thats the beginning of the movie, however my time elapsed says 40 minutes too.

THe movie also stops before it should... again this is only on my APEX.

I have burned a movie I found online to a KVCD, and it worked perfectly (thats how I found out about KVCD in the first place)... so I know my APEX supports everything, and that movie was about the same length.

Is there something I am missing here? SOmething to do with overburning? I burn at 8x.

I did not say the movie I downloaded was a copyrighted movie... it was a free instructional video.

anyways, I have the APEX 1000w (not 1100) with the upgraded OS

I meant how long is the movie?
In my case when I press Goto, appear --:-- on the TV screen. Then I type with remote 00:00 and the movie starts from the very begining. This I should do with the movies longer than 130 min at one SVCD disc (doesn't matter if mpeg1 or mpeg2).
