Hey all,
I'm looking for a DVD player that's pretty cheap (around $50) that is versatile and plays KVCDs along with DVDs and other formats. Could anybody post a DVD player like this?

$50 for a DVD player - bloody hell! - do you have a cost of living over there?

The closest price i've ever seen is for an apex 1200, it costs 64 dlls, you can found it in circuit city. I dont know if it plays kVCD but that is the best player around right now (for such price of course).

The point I was trying to make Bigswaffo is that we get ripped of in the UK.

.. the cheapest DVD player I have seen was £89.99 (approx $150 ?).

@Mario
Thanks for the clarification.

@DaDe
I've heard the Apex doesn't play lower than 500kp/s. Is that true of the Apex 1200?

I think it is true but i am no sure if it applies too for the demux an remux as svcd trick that many people with apex players are saying solves every problem with the kvcd incompatibility issues.

Am i right kwag?

Sorry i dont remember in wich topic are the instructions so you may have to take a swim in the forums.

Saludos!

DaDe.
