Well, I am working on updating the guides for next year release hopefully!
I do think I have MPEG Mediator in the Complete Guide, but I can't cover all
the smaller audio...

Well, basicly all my Templates use the VBV of 0 (Automatic) and i've yet to have a problem with it, so no worries there yet, even a Portable VCD Player managed to play it :)

Eightball, yes, the only thing you need to change in your method, is use the "Save Project" in DVD2AVI instead of "Save AVI", this will make the entire process faster, and you just load the D2V in...

Eightball, i'm curious, if you have a DVD-ROM, why are you ripping to AVI and then encoding to VCD ? why not just encode directly to the format you want (in this case KVCD), it would save you time.

It's not complaining about it being Film, cause Film is the 23.976 fps, it is complaining about the resolution which is not standard, you can simply ignore the message and continue.
