Is there any REAL differance between the mpeg1...

Is there any REAL differance between the mpeg1 and the mpeg2 version besides the fact that one is mpeg2 and one is mpeg1? Will they both give the EXACT SAME outcome?

I tried the KVCDx2 on my AD-1100W (512k) and the audio was skipping. Maybe making it 29.97 fixes that problem? What if my source is FILM though? Wont encoding at 29.97 decrease quality?

The dvd-models page says that the AD-1100W doesnt work at all. Thats incorrect. Ive only made 352x240 KVCD's and it plays them fine. Ill try standard KVCD as well as KVCDx2 soon.
