now I might redo the file with a higher bit rate, using the stock settings of the KDVD template, I get what seems like dithering (macroblocks?)only on dark scenes,...

am trying yet another approach, this time for...
am trying yet another approach, this time for flip DVD or 2 discs DVD sets.
I run DVD Decryptor, ripping both sides movie only to 2 seperate folders ( disc1 and disc 2).

KDVD stock template VS two-Pass?
If I load up the KDVD template and then change the settings from CQ to 2 Pass , does this in turn render the KDVD template invalid, or does it still work under the 2 pass mode and would there be any...

yes for the project I had it set to convert all...
yes for the project I had it set to convert all audio to dolby 2.0 stereo, the funny thing it depsite the 5.33 project size, when all was done it still fits ( 2 movies, ( Ghost Dog and Groundhog Day...
