Force tmpgenc to encode below 2300 kbits/sec?

Is there any way to do that.

I have used both kvcdx2 and kvcdx2 plus. Both is set to 2300 at max. But when i look at the mv2 file, is there a bitrate peak over 2500 kbits/sec.

I can't go...

Sometimes when i use fitcd on a dvd source...

Sometimes when i use fitcd on a dvd source 720x??? the width are decreased from 720 to 704 and the hight increased.

When this happends, should i use bilinear, bicubic or both in virtualdub?

I wonder if there is any way to use avisynth...

I wonder if there is any way to use avisynth instead of virtualdub. So i not have to make a wav file.
In other words..
not
avi > virtualdub > wav > tmpgenc > toolame
but
avi > avisynth...

Avisynth: Frameserve only sound from a movie?

Is there any way to framserve only the sound with avisynth?
Will it then have the same quality as a wav file made by virtualdub?
