KVCD: 56min is reported as 34min ?

I have encoded the audio and video which both report the correct length in seconds but once muxed using bbmpeg they are screwed 56min is reported as 34min and when it gets to 34min the audio drops...

1 hr 21min but I was impressed that even with top settings of 2300 and vbr_cq of 100 it still fit with room to spare...

I guess thats probably due to it being a computer generated movie tho.

KVCD: Suggestion - some kind of database?

Wouldnt it be a good idea to take everyones successful 120 minuters and put them into some kind of database along with the settings used?

That way if theres a particulary dificult movie to fit on...

Thats with a CQ of 100 and a maximum bitrate of 2300

I used 224kbps Dual Channel Stereo

I noticed surround when i converted blade 2 divx with ac3 sound, downmixed to pro logic, but you still got the full surround effect, it was great, i used headac3he and its the best sound i've heard :)

I've read that this should usually be used unless its high action video and then more I frames may be introduced than necessary, I've noticed in your templates that detect scene change isn't checked,...

KVCD: Scene Changes artifacts?

Occasionly when the camera angle changes in a movie, bits of the previous scene will be left on screen, artifacts i suppose you could call them, now I dont want to start playing about with settings...
