I originally ripped using DVD Decrypter. After havig used Smart Ripper, all seems well. I will let you know when I finish.

I should add that all of the encodes below were done at 480 x 480. For low res video downloads, I can use the standard VCD res of 352x240 with no problems.

Also, the sample encodes were not 51MB...

Thanks for the eply.

I use DVD2AVI and "Force Film" when appropriate. I then use TMPEnc with audio set at 160kbs, 44.1.

I do not have this audio problem when I encode at 29.97fps though.

If it is an e-machine or like one, they sometimes put a sticker on the back of the computer with the serial number for the DVD software on it. Mine came this way.

With the 704 x 480, yes. I have never tried the 352 x 240 because I have heard that the quality is on par with VCD. I would love to retain the quality I have come to enjoy with the other templates...
