If it's an mpeg1 you could try open it in V-Dub....

If it's an mpeg1 you could try open it in V-Dub. And run scan video stream for errors. I Think it add a mask into corrupted frames. And then frameserve to Tempgenc as a new file.
Or open mpeg cutter...

When i convert my Widescreen avi's to SVCD i always run
the Wizard in TEMPGEnc. And in Setting/Advanced/ Video Arrange Method
I choose "Full screen(Keep aspect ratio).
Then I get a' Widscreen mpg...

I made a' movie with KVCD-LBR , fitted 2 Hours 7 min at one
700's Cd. :lol: (800Mb)
It works fine on my computer, and the dvd player in my computer.
But in my Pioneer, the sound is bad....
