yes the kvcds on the norcent do look EXCELLENT! i'll just cut the opening credits from now on. i always fast foward throght them anyway.

it's only on the pc for a little but on the standalone for longer. it's just very blocy and the credits are appear on the top and center of the screen sorta like ghosting

when using you script to convert 29.97fps Interlaced materials to 23.976fps, do you select force film in dvd2avi or leave it on none? i'm trying to convert a tv show that's 29.97 interlaced.

89.77 Problem again

i keep getting a final CQ of 89.77 on all of my predictions. I still don't know what i'm doing wrong. here are my steps

with the newest ma script, i get smaller file sizes when encoding in mpeg2. kvcdx3 mpeg1 gives me much bigger file sizes which is really weird.

I did the kvcd*3 template only i changed it to mpeg 2 and i raied the cq to 100 and the mihn. bitrate to 3000 and my ma. bitrate to 3000. i was just testing it out to see if it worked

Yes it did play fine. My dvd player is a Sony DVP-NS 300 and it also played fine on my Norcent 300
