You can with diskeeper, thats why I use that, so it will run at any schedueled time, ie. every week or when ever you wish...

If it's under fileinformation i Vdub, it says the decompressor is "ffvfw MPEG-4 codec".
What would be the optimal decoder for this?

So if your source is interlaced...

Are you trimming the audio aswell? If not that may be the reason for the muxed movie to go out of sync.

FYI KVCD is 544x480. Using a lower resolution is just using half of the power of the concept....

Why not just take the total amount of minutes of the two movies and plot that into calcumatic. That gives an average bitrate that will work for both movies, that's what I do and it haven't failed me...
