Video and Audio out of sync?

I have just burned my kvcd onto disk, the picture is gr8 and everything it's just the sound is 1 second behind the action.

Adding .srt subtitles to a KVCD movie

Jittering during play back

I've download some VCD and KVCD films which play fine on my Sony DAV-S800 dvd player, but when I do the VCD header trick on SVCD films with TMPGEnc and burn and play it on my dvd player, near the end...
