Convert .asf to VCD or KVCD?

How do i do this? I'm not familiar with .asf. I'm not to concerned about quality i just want to convert it to watch on my TV as quick as possible without it looking to terrible.

Is it me or is the latest MA script slow?

with CQMatic is is taking 6 minutes to predict a 7 minute clip using X1 prediction and I have a 3ghz CPU. I don't remember it being this slow in the past. Could it be because I'm using hte KDVD...

Thanks I'm trying to compress as little as possible. I have a backup that goes just over 5GB for the movie so I want to get it to fit on 1 DVD-R with the best quality possible

Hi,

I'd like to convert my KVCDs to DVD-R so I can put muliple on 1 dvd for my set top player, but I think pulldown only works on MPEG2 because DVDLAB is rejecting my files.

Ok from what I've read I can't put KVCD to DVD-R because it is 23.9 fps which won't work on DVD-R and using 2:3 pulldown messes up the video big time. Is this correct?

Hi guys, I have lots of 480x480SVCD 528x480KVCD and 704x480KVCD I'd like to burn to dvd-r and play on my tv is possible.

Hi guys, yes I am transcoding the extras, but not the main movie. I'm new to this so I'll play with dvdshrink for awhile and menuedit to strip buttons. Next step is high quality extras :-)

In DVD Shrink I keep my main movie at 100% and let the extras and menus take the quality hit. So is it safe to say using more complicated encoder...

Why do you guys with PVR-250 hardware encoders re-encode?

doesn't that defeat the purpose of buying a hardware encoder? SHould I buy a software encoding TV tuner instead? Seems like a bad idea to encode then encode again.

I got that in Nero 6 today. VCDEasy said the final size would be 808MB so I made the image anyway. (I don't burn in VCDEasy just make the image file)

Loaded it up in Nero, burned...
