On your movie why does you think it failed ? Because of lack of denoising, or because it has removed...

What threshold have you used ? For a noisy source, you could use 1.5 or 2. You should have previewed the video first, to play with the thresholds a bit, 20 hours are a long time to wait !

BTW, threshold=0.8 is quite conservative, i'm surprised you lose lots of details kwag.
Could you upload the screenshots somewhere ? I'd like to view them with zoom. Or maybe there's a way to do it...

If any 3dnow optimization is going to be added, it's from Kurosu (at doom9). As i have a pentium4 and i use intel compiler, there's no way i can test these improvements :/

I forgot, but there's no filter parameter anymore. It always use Brislawn 10/10.

If some want to test others wavelet filters, you need to use older versions as i can't optimize for every wavelets....

threshold=2.5 for high motion
threshold=1 for slow motion

On which sources it will be applied ? imo threshold=2.5 is a bit high on clean dvd sources. i would use 1-1.5.
2.5 was ok on the sample of the script...

About the filter:

-The "chizel" effect has been removed in all versions above 0.2. That was the artifacts i was talking about...
