mpeg from DV tape via ieee1394 to KVCD

I transfer my homemade video into the comp as mpeg1 or mpeg2. That is the only format I can save it under, at least I think so. So, how can I convert mpeg1 or mpeg2 to KVCD.

After getting my d2v and audio file,
I use tempence to get my tpr file in text mode, then
plug the tpr file into cqmatic with the time and...

I start out with 1. ripping the DVD 2....

I start out with
1. ripping the DVD
2. DVD2AVI
3. Audio encoding

I get a file call video.tpr, which I load into CQmatic. Then it tells gives me the message. Did I do right? :(

Bitrates: Video Resolution is not valid

I try opening the tpr file with "open project" button and I get "Your video resolution is not valid" message. Why?

This is what I did...

I start with,
1. DVD Decrypter to rip DVD to my HD in VOB format
2. DVD2AVI to get my ac3 and d2v files
3. Headac3he to get my mp2 file
