Low resolutions with CCE/Tmpgenc?

Hello.

For low resolutions 352 x 480/576 (and lower) but with a highish bitrate (2000 - 3000) would i benefit more with CCE or Tmpgenc?

Is pulldown needed?

I have a 23.976 video (m2v) made by CCE, do i need to run it through pulldown? or can i just use a tool like DVDPatcher to patch it to 29.970?

If you do not care about the credits on the film, use Tmpgenc to take out most of the end credits to reduce filesize.

First of all this will sound like a stupid question to you hardcore kvcd`ers.

My mates DVD player will only play films using these kvcd templates when multiplexed as SVCD, so i would like to know...

Quiet talking, but loud action?

Hello.

A film (Batman and Robin) i did turned out great video wise but the audio is to damn loud in action scenes and very quiet in talking/quiet scenes.

I wonder if anyone can recommend some...

Put Die Hard on one cd.

Audio = 112
Video = 2h 07min 52secs, 352x576 (VCD template but muxed as SVCD)
CD = 80min
Filesize = 771 MB (808,662,332 bytes)
