I did'nt want so start a new thread so I decided to ask here (sorry if it is the wrong area), but what about trying certain mpeg-4 q-matrxies? I was wondering if it'd be worth to do a few test with.

I just skimmed through thsi and didnt see any one teling you the res to cap form vhs.
It is 640x480. I'll give you the link if you want, but that is the best to cap at.

Files are gona be down for a while. I put a porn file on it. And in 3days it went over the limit. (43megs trasfered about 600times generating ~25.8gigs of data being trasfered) so sorry for the temp...

Well I got a friend who oc'ed a 2500+ xp amd...

Well I got a friend who oc'ed a 2500+ xp amd athlon to the equivlent of 3200+.So there pretty good to oc I'd say atleast.

with a bitrate of aroudn 800 and resolution no higher than 640x480(should go lower if you are goigng...

Also get a DLP if your gona get an hdtv lcd they can lloose a pixel or few.Plsama can go out in a FEW years.So get a DLP or DLp projector(my dad has one can go up to 100inches :D)

I used a program called "Livetype" which came with Apple's "Final Cut Pro 4" Suite.



Actually it kinda does, but I guess there's not much I can do if that's what you feel is necessary,...

I got Initial D stage 3 to a mini-dvd it is at 1hour 40 minutes 1 second.The quality looks greta I used a cq of 70 a max of aroudn 1200 and a min of 300.i did it at half d-1 resolution the quality...

Lo' all I foudn out that I can create mini-dvd's to play on my dad's dvd player.(dose NOT play (K)(s)vcd's)
So I was wondering when I convert my video with tmpgenc what do I have to do to the audio...

i mena mini-dvd's(not mini-dvd the dvd format on cd;s) btu smaller disc just look cooler to me+holds more :D

yea but I have found that if it is a darker...

yea but I have found that if it is a darker movie that mpeg1 is pretty pis spoor conpared to mpeg2 in dark scenes.Just saying my opinion or i dunno :P
