which resluation should I capture the video for kvcd3?

and the output file is in .mpg format how to use it with dvd2avi and fitcd?

What resolution does your dvb2000 recorder supply?

it depends on the channels resolution......It can record in all avalible channels formats.

the player can not change the resolution of the channels.
720x576, 704x576, 352x576.........


all of them.

I'm sorry, I asked the question incorrectly. What is the output resolution from your receiver? What is the resolution being transmitted from your satellite provider?.

It depends on the channel itself. The format is transmitted from the broadcaster....and I just get what they transmit.


like, MTV is on 528x576 and 25fps on nilesat on 11861V frequency.

I can not change that with my receiver.

Well, in that example, your best capturing resolution is indeed the same as the one used on the x3, which is 528x576
So capture at that resolution, and encode with the x3.
