Hi. I have just started learning about kvcd. I got a kvcd movie in the form of .bin/.cue. I also got external subtitles files(s) in the form of .idx/.sub.

I made sure that all the 4 files have the same name with different extensions. When I burn a KVCD with Nero Express using the .cue file, I get the movie and I can play in my Apex AD1500 player. But I don't get the subtitles.

I don't know how to insert the .idx/.sub files into the .bin/.cue file. Any help is appreciated.

Thx.

There is no way. Do your own kvcd and you will put the subtitles during the process.

Thanks Phil. Using the guides on the main page, I was able to make a kvcd with subtitles successfully from my own DVD.

But here the main problem is that I have downloaded this movie and I don't have the original with me.

Follow up question (maybe obvious). Can I convert the kvcd (.bin/.cue) file back to mpeg and then insert the subtitles into it.

Thx.

All is possible on movie you own.
