1 Cup Butter

1 Cup Sugar

6 Drops Lemon Juice

some Nuts

4 Eggs

4 Cups mixed Fruit

1 tsp Baking Powder

2 BOTTLES OF WHISKY



Method: Sample the WHISKY to check quality.

Select large mixing bowl.

Sample the WHISKY again as it must be just right.

To insure the WHISKY is top quality, pour 1 glass and drink.Repeat. With an electric mixer, beat the butter in a large bowl.add sugar and beat again until fluffy.

Meanwhile, check the WHISKY is still top quality by trying another cup. Repeat.

Add 2 large eggs, 2 cups dried fruit and beat till high.

Sample the WHISKY again. Next sift 3 cups of salt- or anything, no matter. Sample the WHISKY again.

Sift half a pint of lemon juice. Fold in the chopped butter and strained nuts.Add 1 tablespoon brown sugar, or any colour you find,and mix well.

Grease oven and turn cake into pan to 200 degrees.

Pour everything in to oven and go to bed.

Haha - kind of reminds me of my chrissy cakes..

Same recipe, but three bottles of booze: one in me, one in wife, one in cake. Cake in oven, me in .. (ahh we'll leave that bit out), both in bed, wake up to cake buzzer 2 hours later.
Chrissy cake is good for hangovers (I KNOW - it's been tried every year - we have to make two cakes, this one and the 'real' one. LOL!!!!)
